The opportunities and challenges in using seeds from the most suitable species and varieties for Sardinian pastures will be discussed by Teresa Murgia and Chiara Ceseracciu from the University of Sassari, followed by testimonies from farmers and suppliers of seeds and agricultural products.
An open discussion will follow on the opportunities and limitations of using innovative agronomic techniques, in light of the field trials launched by the ๐ญ๐ข๐ข๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐ operational group.
The aim of the meeting is to share practical knowledge that can be immediately applied by operators in the sector. The meeting is organized by the ZOOTRACK operational group (Measure 16.1 PSR Sardegna) in collaboration with the international projects PrimaProgram, SALAM-MED, and Horizon Europe Monalisa Project, coordinated by the NRD Desertification Research Centre, University of Sassari. The ZOOTRACK Operational Group is a public-private partnership coordinated by #bonificheferraresi, with scientific support from @dipartimentoagrariauniss, and a network of agro-livestock companies linked to Coldiretti Nord Sardegna.
The event is part of the “Semenare” series of the “Lร cani” Living Lab, launched within the Salam-MED framework, dedicated to the future of Mediterranean silvopastoral systems.
