🌱𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱🌱On **𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵** we celebrate World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, a fundamental moment to reflect on the importance of caring for our planet. This year’s theme is 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱. 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, an invitation to restore degraded lands to ensure a more equitable and sustainable future for all. Sustainable land management is crucial for securing food, water and economic opportunities, especially in the face of the global climate crisis.For this important occasion, the 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗡𝗥𝗗) 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶 and the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗡𝗥 (𝗜𝗕𝗘-𝗖𝗡𝗥) have joined forces to organize an online event full of insights and discussions.The event will be structured in two main parts during the day:
