On May 16th, 2025, the third workshop of the Calderona Living Lab was held in Serra (Valencia), bringing together researchers from the Universitat Politècnica de València and local stakeholders involved in the Salam-MED project. The workshop focused on adaptive vegetation management and its impacts on ecosystem services in Mediterranean landscapes. Participants reviewed the outcomes of the second workshop and engaged in discussions to identify priorities and co-design multifunctional management alternatives. In the afternoon, the group visited the ecohydrology experimental plots, where ongoing fieldwork offers valuable insights into how water and vegetation interact under different management scenarios. The event was another key step toward collaborative planning and implementation of nature-based solutions for climate adaptation in the region.
